Food will be provided by the club. Please consider brining your own refreshments for the event though.
General Club Meeting & Elections
Next general club meeting, originally scheduled for April 2nd has been pushed to April 9th.
We will also be meeting at Abby’s Pizza in White City for the event instead of the Rogue Regency. Pizza will be provided, and we’ll be starting a little after 6PM. This will be our annual elections so please plan on attending if you’d like to have your voice/vote heard.
Last Hurrah
Second update will be for April 6th – our Last Hurrah/Winter Banquet & annual awards. Here is a link where you can vote. https://forms.gle/rt9RZxfvjJgVGtX56
We will likely not be able to present snowmobiler of the year award due to timing. If enough of you vote quickly though, it might happen. If not, it will be presented at the annual summer campout as it takes time to get the plaque made up for it. All other awards will be announced at the Last Hurrah. Event will be catered by Jeffro’s in Shady Cove. Please bring up your awards if you have them on hand.
General Club Meeting
Our next General meeting will be at the Rogue Regency Inn, downstairs on March 12th at 6PM. This will be our initial meeting for officer and board member nominations (where we decide who goes on the ballot) In April, we will be voting in your new board members or re-electing current ones.
No Host Ride
We’ll be heading down to Deer Park/Mountain next weekend for a no host ride out of Shasta. Shasta looks to be getting some more snow later in the week and I have a feeling it might be deep out there.
For those that need directions to get there https://maps.app.goo.gl/uARjCoyheDxjBsvHA

General Club Meeting & Pie Auction
I apologize for the inconvenience but due to a scheduling conflict the club has rescheduled the Candlelighter’s Pie Auction from February 7, 2023 to Monday February 6, 2023 6pm at Rogue Regency in the conference room.
Be sure and bring your pies and money to this fund raiser for Candlelighters. The club will provide dinner at 6 pm with the auction to follow. Bob Guthmiller has agreed to be the auctioneer.
Through your donation the CANDLELIGHTERS are able to do many things like grant a child’s last wish, take the children on a fun outing and give the children and their family hope and support as they go thru their treatment. The funds will help with travel expenses, (food, gas & lodging), for those children who must travel to OHSU in Portland or Doernbecker’s Children’s Hospital for treatment.
They come and help with our annual pie auction which is used as our annual fund raiser for the CANDLELIGHTERS. We also take them for snowmobile rides and a BBQ at our Thousand Springs snow shelter. They also join us at our annual summer camp out for fun, games and great food. It is donations such as yours that helps this organization do a little more for their kids. Your donation is tax deductible because CANDLELIGHTERS (501c3) and Rogue Snowmobilers (501c7) are registered as nonprofit organizations.
If you cannot attend the Candlelighters Pie Auction and wish to do so you can send a check to Sherry Allen (Secretary). Our address is PO Box 1423, Medford, Or. 9750. Please make the check payable to Rogue Snowmobilers. Sherry will add it for our contribution to the charity.
Thank You for your support,
Chuck Allen
President Rogue Snowmobilers
